Modpack Issues

I've downloaded some of the 1.6.4 modpacks and I've been trying to launch them, but when I press "launch" the console reads "beginning authlib authentication attempt", then "successfully created YggdrasilAuthenticationService", then finally "using authlib authentication data", then a bunch of stuff pops up on the console for literally only half a second, of which I'm too slow to copy down, then both the console and launcher close without any notice. Nothing happens after. I've reinstalled the launcher, allocated more memory to the launcher, and basically everything I can think of, but I'm not a tech wizard so I haven't thought of anything significant to do. Hopefully you guys can answer my question because I've been trying to fix this for almost a week, I've asked questions all over the place.

If you have a 32 bit OS and sre trying monster or some other heavy modpack it WILL NOT LOAD

I'm trying to use the Direwolf20 1.6.4 modpack, and the HatFilms HatPack modpack.

On my computer, I have an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.40GHz, 4GB RAM, and a 64-bit OS.

Have you set proper JVM arguments and have made sure you have 64-bit Java 7 install?

To be honest with you man, I have no idea what any of that is. As I said in the OP, I'm no tech wizard.

If you could show me how to do that stuff, that would be great.

I found ForgeModloader-client-0, looked through the results and couldn't find Forge-Modloader-0.log, so hopefully this is the same one. I do recognize the most recent stuff at the bottom.

Try updating java to 7u51.

question, is u51 faster than u45? because when i updated to u45 from u21 my fps DIED.
