The pack is made, PM me if you want to test it. The mod list is still incomplete, just apply if you want to test. The server will now be a regular whitelist server.
So, I decided of a server idea, whitelisted with applications available BEFORE it begins. 3 groups, Tech, Magic, and Magitech. Mod recommendations are welcome, but the mods I will for sure use(If perms are granted) are:
[This may be expanded]
EnderStorage (Excessively nerfed recipes to encourage EnderNet)
EnderNet (Made significantly easier but still will require a few machines)
Logistics Pipes (AE's wireless access annoys me)
Buildcraft (for logpipes)
Applied Energistics
Witchery
Mek
Blood Magic
Thaumcraft
Technomancy
Botania
MFFS
TE3
RoC
Electricraft
EnderIO
Reactorcraft
Big Reactors
ComputerCraft
Project: Red

I MAY use these:
[Will be expanded]
Forbidden Magic

I will NOT use these:
[May also be expanded]
IC2
OpenComputers

So, any recommendations?

Needs more Spatial Pylons:

In all seriousness, Witchery is a nice mod, as is Mekanism.

Yeah, at school so I don't have my text file with preferred mods. Will add right away.

I'd recommend some Thaumcraft addons to start. Thaumic Tinkerer, Forbidden Magic, Technomancy, etc.

For some standalone magic mods, try Xeno's Reliquary, Ars Magica, Mystcraft, and Twilight Forest.

How don't you have Thermal Expansion on there yet? Get with it, bro.

EDIT: Well, Technomancy is already in the pack and @Padfoote ninja'd me with FM. Fantastic.

Trying to stay away from TF and MystCraft, no extra dimensions. I have issues with AM2 and ReC.
Forbidden Magic.
Adding.
EDIT: To get some new opinions in here.. (Sorry @Padfoote, your opinions are
too much like mine)

You said server, right? Enhanced Portals might be a good idea then.

Also, the previous summons won't work since it was done in an edit.

It'll be a coherent whitelisted server.. I'll PM you the idea sometime soon.

This is rorax pack: RaxPack
See if some of those mod names gives you any ideas.

With enhanced portals in, mystcraft can go. The recipes are super expensive too, so there's that.
Also, see some of my posts on @Mevansuto's thread.
Having thought over Mev's question on mod pack size/mod numbers and over my interactions about themes and gameplays, I think it would be better to keep mod number/ mod pack size small, and focus on gameplay dynamics. Eclectic mod packs are also the new "way to go", I feel.

Extra utilities is a good mod, I personally love the colored bricks and planks it adds. It doesn't really fit in with the three categories you outlined, save for the division sigil and activation ritual. Still a good mod to have around.
