144 Things where an author writes online for free. They tend to be insanely long, and if you pick the right ones, well written. This is a site that lists ones that authors have put up there, with them ranked by the votes of readers. I suggest Super Powereds and Worm as good ones, though worm with worm make sure to read the about page before digging into it, it contains things many would find distasteful.

148 Yep :) Worm is done, though the sequel is just starting after a several year gap while the author wrote two other works.
 
182 That it is. I just read really fast, so I prefer stories that will take a while to read, rather than one like that that I can binge in a couple days while still doing homework and going to classes.
