1203. Aw rats, I'm repeating myself :(

I'm up to date on the ongoing S4, so I've gone to S1 and its great as well; I've also had Critical Role strongly suggested to me, so I may give that a go too.

1211. Oh nice! :) I’ve never played Pathfinder, but I’ve heard really good things about it. The ones I’ve been listening too have all been 5E based.

1212 Ah, I haven’t played 5E much, but it’s pretty fun. Pathfinder is pretty awesome, and mostly compatible with 3.0 and 3.5, so I can still use a lot of old stuff that I like.

1213. Yeah I’ve heard that Pathfinder is like 3.75 :)

I’ve played 3.5, but the only one I’ve done a decent amount of is 4E. I know a lot of people are quite down on 4E but I really enjoyed it!

1214 if you like 4E, then good for you. Me personally I only see three things good from it:
  1. The artwork (its pretty)
  2. Dragonborn (Now I get Draconian but I don’t need to be Dragonlance)
  3. Warlocks in the main book (One of my favorite 3.5
But the at-will daily and encounter powers made it feel a bit too MMO ish for me since every class progressed the same way (With different abilities

1215. That’s fair! See as I’ve not actually played any MMOs I guess it didn’t bother me :) with the various extra things I quite enjoyed the variety within the confines of the overall template.

Honestly, the campaign and company was so much fun, I wasn’t all that fussed by the mechanics :)
