Mod Packs Not Opening

The launcher opens up correctly and there is no issues in the console but when i click launch on a mod pack it just doesn't open all the icons go dark and i can no longer click them but the game doesn't open up PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Follow the basic troubleshooting guide here first to ensure that the launcher is installed the correct way.

If you still need help then bring up the console and click the "paste my log to pasebin" button and once you get the log link it to this thread.
