Mod packs and swapping mods

Hi, I'm sure I remember reading somewhere they where planning on making it so modpack a can be swapped around if you want certain mods from one modpack in another.

Is this still the case?

I'd love to combine a few of the mods in horizons into monster but I don't want to until I know it's possible thanks :)
 
All mods in FTB packs are part of the universal configs. You should be able to just add in the mods you want from Horizons into your Monster mods folder and it should work just fine.
 
no, configs for all mods come with each pack (whether that mod is in the pack or not), hence the reason they are called the Universal Configs :)
