Windows .exe Mod packs and maps not downloading

The mod packs and maps aren't downloading for me for some reason. Can anyone help me? I've tried relocating the folder and re downloading the launcher but it didn't work.
 
Need more info! OS/bit type, Java version/bit type, AV's/firewalls
A better description of your problem, and what you've done to rectify it.
 
OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Java v7 AVG 2011 Anti virus.
There is no error on the console or anything like that, it just doesn't download. It says "Downloading mod pack" and just gets stuck after that. I've deleted all the files, re downloading them and still nothing.
 
Have you logged into the launcher at least once? A lot of people think just cos they get the launcher they get the maps/mods with it.
 
Does the filepath of your FTB folder contain any spaces or other special characters?
Like "c:\This might\cause some problems!\FTB"
If so, change it to for example "c:\FTB\" or "c:\SomethingThat\DontContain\SpacesAndStuff"

I am having the same issue. I have tried deleting and re-downloading like 5 times. still nothing :(
 
Is a FTBLauncherLog.txt generating in the folder you downloaded FTB to?
If it is, can you put it on pastebin and link it here please?
 
I now have the same problem as he did.. :/ and I also tried everything as you said before.
