Mod Pack Compadibility

I play infinity and the newest version goes up to 2.3.5, but the newest mods I see available (like on curse for example) are 1.8.9. Are the 2 compadible with each other?

Infinity is Minecraft version 1.7.10, the modpack version is 2.3.5. The newest mods on Curse are for Minecraft version 1.8.9, so no they are not compatible with Infinity. If you want to play with the new mods you can try FTBUnstable, but as the name suggests the pack might be unsatble and worlds may need to be reset after an update.

Thanks, that was a huge help. I was ASSuming that because it said 2.3.5 that those were the mods I needed. I just need to look for something that work with 1.7.10 =)
