mod for temp ban on death 1.7.10

Looking for a mod or something for 1.7.10 that allows you to automatically temp ban a player from a server for an hour(or a configurable amount of time) if they die.

also looking for other ways to make death really unpleasant...

this might actually be pretty simple, when event X happens, run xyz admin commands, any ideas?

Looking for a mod or something ...

I'm making a mod pack, the question is about ways to make death more of a pain, for the mod pack...
the solution does not have to be a mod, it could be a script or a server plugin or whatever, I've found an old Bukkit plugin and a few mods but they are for 1.6.4,
anyone know a way to do this in 1.7.10?
