Launching:
  • Thaumcraft boots or Botania sash (requires ground)
  • Thaumic Tinkerer Ascent Boost enchantment (requires ground)
  • Leaping potion effect (at least Botania has it, also given by vanilla beacons) (requires ground)
  • Thaumcraft Sword of the Zephyr, TT Uprising(Upsurging?) focus
  • Blood Magic air sigil
  • Botania rod (of the skies?)

Gliding:
  • OpenBlocks Hang Glider
  • EnderIO Glider upgrade (Darksteel chestplate)
  • Upgraded TiCon Traveler's leg armour
  • Chicken morph

Flight:
  • ExtraUtils Angel Ring
  • SimplyJetpacks
  • Thaumcraft harness, TTkami robes
  • Botania Flügel Tiara
  • Blood Magic ritual (Reverence of the Condor?), and maybe a potion
  • IC2 jetpack/GraviPlate
  • probably anything else called "jetpack" which I may have missed
  • Morph into flying creature (Blaze, Ghast, Bat etc.)
The Angel Ring has the smallest footprint, but it is not the only way of achieving unlimited creative flight. Botania requires killing Gaia2.0 and automated mana production, the amulet bauble slot and an extra inventory item (but gives you a "home" waypoint and the mana supply can be shared with other items), TTkami robes require you to wear the chest piece (and boots for fall damage mitigation) so you lose out on set bonuses from other armour. Morph can reduce your max health or have negative side effects unless you find a modded mob without such downsides. High-tier jetpacks are practically infinite and most can be charged wirelessly via e.g. EnderIO.

Ore doubling:
  • AE2 grindstone (cheap, but only 90% bonus)
  • TiCo Smeltery (low-tech, and cheap unless you value lava)
  • IC2 Macerator, "ore washing" setup
  • Immersive Engineering Crusher
  • Railcraft Rock Crusher
  • TE Pulverizer (can give bonus materials, primary way of getting Shiny/Platinum and Cinnabar), Induction Smelter (Rich Slag further increases your yield)
  • EnderIO SAG Mill (bonus materials, can boost output by investing Dark Steel)
  • Thaumcraft "purification" (Crucible alchemy) or Pickaxe of the Core (make sure you enchant it with Repair, and Fortune supposedly increases the cluster drop rate, but you can just keep placing and breaking the same ore block until you get the cluster. Vis-regenerating wands from addons help fuel the repair)
  • ExtraUtils QED (requires coal and only works with vanilla ores unless someone recently added other recipes)
  • Vanilla Fortune III gives +120% yield for (almost) anything that doesn't drop as a block. This is beaten for some materials by a SAG Mill with Darksteel grinding balls or by Thermal Expansion secondary products
Non-RNG Enchanting:
  • Thaumcraft Infusion enchanting (costs items and essentia instead)
  • EnderIO Enchanter (gives enchanted books, requires xp and items, plus more xp to enchant an item via anvil)
  • BiblioCraft Printing Press (copies enchanted books, costs xp and small amounts of common materials)
  • MFR Disenchanter (strips enchantments from items into books, combine with an xp/"rare drop" farm and an anvil)
  • Botania's Mana Enchanter (consumes mana and requires enchanted books, but the books are NOT consumed! Set up renewable mana production first though...)
  • Don't forget you can combine enchanted books in an anvil to get higher levels
  • Some Twilight Forest gear always comes with specific enchantments, though not top-tier ones
  • Botania and Thaumcraft both have a Spellbinding Cloth to remove enchantments, in case you want to undo a bad roll but not be able to preserve the enchantments
Autocrafting:
  • Botania
  • Logistics Pipes
  • Steve's Factory Manager
  • ExtraUtils Transfer Node
  • MFR (especially the Liqui-Crafter, which operates on redstone pulse rather than RF)
  • Thermal Expansion Cyclic Assembler (pretty fast, requires RF)
  • Compacting Drawers "auto-craft" and "auto-uncraft" compacting recipes (lets you reclaim Nether Quartz from blocks for example)
  • ...yes, AE2 can also do it
"Player" mob-autokilling:
  • This is for getting xp and rare drops, which you don't get if mobs are killed purely by gravity, suffocation, drowning, lava etc.
  • The MFR Grinder does not catch all rare drops, but you can convert Mob Essence into XP
  • Weapon users: enchant weapon for bonus loot, make sure it's unbreakable or automatically replace when broken
  • EnderIO Killer Joe (requires weapon and nutrient fluid)
  • Thermal Expansion Autonomous Activator (requires weapon and RF)
  • Thaumic Tinkerer Dynamism Tablet (requires weapon)
  • Anything else that takes an item and simulates left-clicking will probably work (or crash the game ;))
  • ExtraUtils Diamond Spike (can be enchanted, also works with damage boost enchantments)

Added some more obscure options, especially magitech mods which tend to be a little more complex or less efficient. All my additions are based on FTB Infinity with default configs, so some input for mods not included in that pack is still missing. Nothing on Draconic Evolution either. Also added some notes on e.g. costs or transferring items across dimensions.

Should there be more notes for similar (but not identical) mechanics like Botania's Mana and Thaumcraft's Essentia+Centivis which work like tech mod power systems? Only when they can interact with other non-addon mods?
And what about creative workarounds like canning fluids to use item transport methods, chaining ranged item pickup with Droppers and so on? Some of these can actually beat the intended mechanics in fringe cases, especially if pipes/cables are expensive.

We could also add a section for endgame equipment, but that would require a massive wall of text to describe the differences.
