mod/block idea

hey guys, .. do you know that if you have a mob/xp farm running, which makes this annoying sound that nearly crashes your sound engine?
.. would be awsome if someone could maybe make some kind of block which sucks up all the sound around him, so you could place a few blocks to your mobfarm and wouldn't have to worry about the sound it generates

what do you guys think about that?

This actually sounds interesting. It would be great if it could block the sound of rain as well.

I'd suggest going to the Thaumcraft thread and suggesting it there, as this seems to fit pretty well with that mod.
