Imagine you have been sent by the government or whatever to a section of the galaxy affected by a fast growing space exploration, left behind a world filled to the brim with junk and polluted chemicals and with acidic weather.
The world is rich on materials, but are all either slag or decomposed.
The world will be made up of layered junk, all based on how much pressure is applied to the pile of junk, making the bottom materials heavy on metals and fossilized biomass or the like.
I imagine the world to be made up of lots of blocks with different material kompositions, maybe 20+ junk blocks. The chemical fluid would have at last 8+ different mixtures, requiring a chem centrifuge.
The start will be looking for rusty, old tools and moldy wood materials, to build a sift or similar tool, to roughly separate pile of junk into more of the junk materials to build makeshift machines.
A lot of new mods would be required to make this modpack as well as make a world gen, making a layered pattern of landfill.
