Hey I need some input on an issue i am running into with my pack. The problem is that I am having mobs despawn randomly. I will go after a mob to kill it only to see it despawn shortly before I get to it at times. I do know I am running quite a few mods the add mob spawns but I did not think that would cause much of a problem.

It is a vanila mechanic but from what i remmember at least at night a mob you are chasing shouldnt despawn. Unless it does happen and i never ran into it in my hundreds of hours of playing. My first guess which is probably not true though would be a mod trying to spawn something when you are at the cap causing a mob to despawn in order for it to make place for a new mob. Dunno though
