the answer is yes. I would look in the config folder for the option. It should be turned off by default, in my opinion.

I'm not sure. I can't find it either. According to this post:

you can turn it off for servers, though. Maybe ask there?
That's why it is the biggest NO GO for FTB. Free cheat for everyone.
With Rei's map you were able to deactive features like mobs on the map, etc.

send client a chat line including §3 §6 §3 §6 §3 §6 §e or §3 §6 §3 §6 §3 §6 §d to disable radar and cave mapping respectively
Easiest with a MOTD plugin (not the MOTD in the server.properties that shows in the server list), something like Forge Essentials. Can include those strings in a welcome message. Client won't see it, it's just a bunch of color codes
Here's a thought... why doesn't Mamiya just make it a config option so we don't have to perform voodoo and install other plugins to disable something cheaty that the mod adds? *facepalm*[DOUBLEPOST=1363313714][/DOUBLEPOST]Thank you, MouseyPounds for finding that, by the way.
