So, I just wanted to hear your ideas for specific mobs.

(1) I will be using MFR to spawn my mobs, simply because I can use energy to do so, and I have plenty of the aforementioned.

(2) It will need to work in a modulated system. If not, it would need to at least be somewhat compact. I plan to have many grinders for different mobs. I could transport them all into a common room and grind them that way, but some mobs float and some don't occupy a 1x1 footprint.

I guess what I'm asking for is ideas. How would you design a room to accommodate ghasts. How would you design a module such that it is versatile enough to handle blaze AND creepers (two separate systems, but the same design).

Things like that.

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
Top floor is ghasts- grinder in each wall.
Next floor is water- blazes.
3rd is quicksand.
4th is drop trap.
Iron golems need a lava blade.
Tesseracts are quite useful, and it fits in a single chunk.

Or you can be boring and have 7x7 cobble boxes with a grinder in each wall and spawner in the middle.

Blazes will never start fly as long as they cant see you. So you can easily use the same setup for blazes as for other walking mobs.
Personally I just let them fall unto Conveyor belts that press them against grinders.
I'm using Soulshard spawners, but the killing method should be the same. There is a few pics of my mobfarms in several iterations here: http://imgur.com/a/dSMKv
I do have one booth for each kind of mob, but I don't see why you couldn't just use the same one(of funnel them into the same killing chamber) and add a few more grinders to keep up.

Ghasts fit into the same set-up as every other monster, just make sure the roof is at a minimum 5 high

I personally would also include sound mufflers into the floor, and make it 9x9 wide for the spawning area. I tried making one that was 5x5, and occasionally it'd spawn one outside the room, but with my 9x9 design there has been no mishaps yet.

Something I'd like to add, if you have the Blood Magic mod installed (Currently not in FTB) then you can use a Dynamism Tablet from Thaumic Tinker, an altar, and a Dagger of Sacrifice as a grinder. The dagger one-shots mobs hit by it when in range of an altar. You have the added bonus of being able to harvest blood and XP.

Whats the size of your spawner?

Will the blaze spawn if the spawner is in the middle and have less than 5 blocks to ceiling?

Blaze will, but for ghast (which I think you're meaning) As I understand it they can spawn in smaller than 5 high, but start suffocating and make a terrible noise doing so.

Yes it was Ghast I mean :D - thanks.... then I need to redesign my spawner area...

Planning to make a turtle replacing the safarinet after a request on a screen.
