I'm running on a server with Monster, plus Witchery. Is there any way to do a fully automatic mob farm that will get rare drops?

+1 to TS. we want to know all ways.
I know that CC turtles counts as player.
As options Thaumcraft golems, TT plates, may be OpenComputers turtles.

problem is, it's Monster and I believe that Monster doesn't have that Ender IO version with Killer Joe yet.
if it was 1.7.10 I'd suggest using the diamond spike from Extra Utilities

A drop trap almost certainly won't get you rare drops. A Thaumcraft defender golem might, but may or may not require a visor or some other upgrade.

The MFR grinder definitely should, as will ExtraUtilities spikes. At least, the iron spikes did back when they were the only type of spike the mod added; I'm not sure what the differences between the materials are now, though.

I would say I did too. Always used MFR for all mobfarms in 1.6 and never remember to have anyproblems. Maybe just my brain whos getting old. But give it a try.

MFR grinders are worth a shot. I think the slime essence farm might even work in Monster, or maybe it was fixed in the last version..

MFR grinder tested to not work - it doesn't get brains from angry zombies or bat wool from bats, which are the main things I want to farm. Currently setting up a test for iron spikes from Extra Utils.

(The pack isn't quite vanilla Monster - where possible, mods are updated to the latest version. Still 1.6.4 though.)
