I have a massive MJ production, I don't know where to spend it, so I thought it's time for quantum suit.
Now here's the problem. I haven't started playing with IC2 and I don't have even one rubber. So my question is there anyway that I can convert my MJ to EU?

Unfortunately, there's no direct method of converting MJ to EU(in the packs). There are some roundabout methods, such as using magma crucibles to fuel (geo)thermal generators etc, though. If going the thermal route, though, I feel it would make more sense to just pump from a lava based age or the nether instead of using the more lengthy process of a crucible.

There are a few other methods, but I've yet to really bother with trying to convert MJ to EU since the methods all involve multiple steps ultimately leading to an EU generator. Might as well just start up a proper EU generation setup, instead.

How do I transfer lava between dimensions?
You can use liquid Tesseracts to transfer lava between dimensions. Connect a liquid tesseract to a pump, set its frequency/channel and set it to send. Then you can set up another liquid tesseract wherever you want, set it to receive and use the same channel and it will pump the liquid out into pipes or a tank.

Edit: Don't forget, you'll need an anchor or chunk loader set by the pump in the other dimension to keep the chunks loaded. If the pump isn't loaded, it can't do anything.

The most efficient way I've seen to convert MJ to EU has been using MFFS.. Connect MJ into an extractor and then use a converter to pump it out to EU.. It's got about a 600k MJ -> 1.5M EU conversion rate which I think trumps that of Steam Turbines.. Each requires some sort of upkeep though, forcicium for the MFFS Extractor and Turbine blades for the steam turbine :( WTB a reverse electrical engine

The ultimate pack got the Energy bridge which is able to convert several energy sources back and fourth. (including both EU and MJ)

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
I wouldn't worry about direct methods- indirect multi-machine steps are much more fun to build.

The MJ->Crucible->Thermal is the bare minimum, lazy method of doing it.

If you're running a boiler- a steam turbine + crucible->lava->obsidian->iron->steel is kinda awesome to build and automate replacing used turbine blades.
