Was wondering if there are any way to display the energy an energy cell has onto a panel? Kind of similar to the way Nuclear control adds the Information panel to display eu in an mfsu.

Yes, you can use the same displays as the nuclear control systems. Use an Energy Sensor Kit to right click on the Redstone Energy Cell. That will give you the card from the Kit. Put that card into a Nuclear Information Reader.

I use a computer to read from the Nuclear Information Reader to monitor my energy cell, and turn on a bank of engines when the cell gets below 10% and turns them off when it gets over 95%. Gates would be nice, but the cell never registers as 100% as there is a constant drain. And I don't want the engines running all the time.

It finally got fixed, gates properly register even when there is constant drain since TE 2.2.2. I used gate system before, but it required 2 REC per bank of engines, only one was outputting at any given time, so energy full conditions registered properly. For combustion engines, due to their long cooldown period just running them if energy cell isn't full and no engine is orange seem to be enough.

Sweet! thanks for the info. I didnt even bother trying because I figured it was EU based only.
