Missing Helmets After Fighting Twilight Forest Bosses

So last night my brother and I decided to go kill a few bosses in the Twilight Forest. We started with a Lich, then we killed a Naga, and then a Ur-Ghast. Somewhere along the way we both lost our helmets. My brother had an ultimate solar helmet and I had a Force Armor Helmet. We noticed the loss after fighting the Ur-Ghast, and were wondering if that had anything to do with the loss. Does the Ur-Ghast eat helmets or something?

Twighlight mobs I believe have something called rust effect or along the lines that twighlight mobs can damage armor that really aren't supposed to be able to be damaged.

This. I wonder if this is deliberate, to try and stop people from using OP gear? You'll have to cheat your stuff back in i'm afraid, unless you want to get it back legit.

I see well I will keep this in mind when fighting twilight mobs. Do all of them have the rust effect or do I have to watch out for certain ones?
