Mismatch IDs in some modpacks, but not in all PCs.

Hello all,

We are couple of friends who are new to FTB. We have successfully launched our FTB Unleashead Server. We all use the same links to download and install Java, Minecraft and FTB. But some of our friends are not able to connect to server, because of some mismatched IDs in some modpacks. We copied and pasted same config files to all of our computers. But still the same problem. We had researched all forum posts or support pages but couldn't find a solution. And finally decided to post to this forum hopefully find some answers.

Any ideas what could possibly cause this?

I experienced the same issue with a friends a few months back.

Weirdly .. it was his PC's fault. He was still running a 32-bit OS, with 32-bit Java hard limited to 1GB RAM.

Don't ask me why, be he started having all sorts of ID mismatch errors - I guess due to Java running out of memory space before it finished loading everything properly.

Just do a little more research on his specs and setup and take it from there.

Yeah, its kind a wierd. We did all we can do about OS versions and Java Versions and all of our computers are using correct versions of java according to their os versions. But we didn't look for the limited Ram issue. Thank you for giving us something to try.
