Hello guys

I was watching the direwolf20 episode about the automated mining with the mining wells. (I'm using the FTB ultimate pack)
I am not a fan of turtles and I don't like using them, but I did want to make something similar. Here is the result:
(it does the same, but it is a bit bigger, and keep in mind it is just a quick build)

Can you please host the world download on another site? I can't download it, mediafire, dropbox or even planet minecraft, please i really need this machine

That's weird. I can view the images.

I'll post the pics via imgur once I have access to my machine.

I built this on a server on Ultimate. It's very similar to DW20's, but I wrote the turtle program from scratch, and it's using an EG-Drive Mk6.4 to move around.

Here's the vid on how to build the EG-Drive:

As for the turtle programs used for this build, you can take a look at my pastebin: http://pastebin.com/u/dlord

Look for the files starting with mw (stands for mining well).

mwmine and mwstartup are for the turtles holding the mining wells.

mwcontrol is for the turtle that sends commands, and waits for a "done" reply from all the turtles before moving the entire frame.

The EG-Drive is controlled by the /frameengine/frame program.

I could probably post a video on how to build this from scratch. If there's enough people interested, I'll make it.

I managed to get one of these working using no turtles. Just a few repeaters, a timer, and some wireless redstone. 16 wide, within one chunk boundary. Two staggered rows of mining wells mixed with ender chests. Each well is broken and fed to a deployer between cycles. The deployers fill up with junk, but each has two wells, so one is always in the first inventory slot. The primary target of the wells is the ender chest next to each. All wells are powered off redstone conduit fed by two tesseracts. Spot loader "hood ornament" and another on the tail to keep the current chunk(s) loaded.

Then a disaster of sorts. Left my mining age to check the flow if items. Didn't get any. While this was working great, after I left and came back the wells no longer dig when deployed. Restarting the server seems to have taken care of it. Will continue testing to see if it works smoothly while I'm out of that dimension again.

Using the DW20 pack v5.3.2
