Well, I'm quite new to FTB, but everyone say how good the Mini map is and how help full it is, but me, this is my mini map..

Was it that way when you installed the pack? Which pack are you playing? Or did it happen after you did something or after a crash? Does this happen on a new save?
Try reinstalling FTB by following this guide exactly to make sure it was not an installation error. Once done please post a console log in debug mode to pastebin.com and link it here.
