Problem MineTogether doesn't work

I just started my game as usual and for some reason, the MineTogether chat didn't work. There were no messages from other players, and when i typed something in it, the message did just disappear after pressing enter.

Im playing FTB Revelation 1.12.2 Version 3.4.0

did you say a naughty word the last time you were on?

May have had the ban hammer drop... you get no warning and no indication apart from no more chat.
