Minecraft FTB keeps crashing on startup...

So FTB keeps crashing after I hit launch and the Mojang logo appears. This happened shortly after I re-enabled Optifine(1.4.6) and I hit launch. Now the FTB launcher keeps crashing every single time. Help would be appreciated:

Kudi, your problem is different. You should be using Java 7 on a windows OS. Your problem is "java.lang.NullPointerException

Ok I tried downgrading the modpack versions and then updating them. Awaiting results:
When I downgraded to 4.0 (from 5.0.1), I didn't get a crash report, but rather, it let me play.
When I tried to join my friend's server, the typical "Forge Mod could not connect" appeared, because my mods were not up to date with the server's.
I tried going back to 5.0.1 but it said "Error downloading modpack!"
So I just need to download the modpack and it "SHOULD" work... need help with that though :/

My problem was solved. After messing with the modpack version(s) and tinkering with that, it eventually worked. Thanks though!

Seems i had two versions of java installed. I uninstalled the older one and it worked...Thanks...
