Minecraft crashes

I dl one of the new mod packs for 1.6.4 minecraft and then start the game up.. the game goes to the mojang title screen then after sittting then for awhile just shuts down not letting the game start at all.

I'm not sure how to get the tech info from this situation for you though.

Go to the options and make sure that "show console" and "reopen launcher after minecraft closes" are both ticked.
