Minecraft crash

I recently bought a server to use for FTB, but the problem i'm having is that when i join the server i can run around for about 10 secs, then minecraft freezes, and sometimes i even need to restart my computer.
I also had this problem when i joined a other server.
I'm using the Mindcrack modpack with the latest edition i think.
I'm currently on a mac.

I'm not sure what's happening but I'm pretty sure this is the problem, try force updating in the options tab. If that doesn't work try updating forge or from files.minecraftforge.net and lwjgl.org or using multimc.

That forceupdate didn't worked, but i don't how to update forge.
I'm not a expert on that area.
