Minecraft configuration? I just want to play omnia :(

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Dear friends,

I downloaded the new FTB launcher, looks clean. Downloaded the new modpack FTB omnia, now when i wanna play it, the minecraft launcher opens and when i click 'play' it says: 'Sorry, unable to start minecraft, please check your configuration'.
When i start minecraft normally, so not through ftbApp, there is no omnia.
I don't know what to do to be able to play FTB omnia now ...
Please help :)

Check allocated ram - give it at least 6gb and don't give more than 8gb.

So I am having the same issue right now but with Revelation. The game launches but Revelations is not present in the installations tab. I have tried what you just said but to no avail. I have it set at about 7.5GB and have tried different values between 6-8 but nothing seems to work. Any other ideas?

I'd say have the launcher redownload the pack (delete the pack from the launcher and download it again)
