Hmm, since I got your original question from your OP, I am hazarding a guess here, perhaps the improper use of (or lack of) punctuation tripped the readers?

^^ would have perhaps reduced the confusion? I don't know. I'm just guessing.

While it might be true that without Minecraft there would not have been a modded MC, modded MC is really another game altogether when compared with vanilla MC. Something something... The whole is greater than the sum of its parts analogy comes to mind in this regard....

Also, Mojang's official dilly-dally over mods, their "cat-on-the-wall" stance on "official" modding API, and all the "drama" instigated over mods so far, means I have no personal favourites among the Mojangers.

I have a lot of less than nice things to say about mojang because they enforcing and changing there stupid "eula"
