Minecraft can't start - Buildcraft 2 check failed

Has anyone ever run into a problem like this starting minecraft? The log says that the Buildcraft 2 check failed. I'll post try to post the exact log later.

It's just happening in my ultimate pack, the others (DW 20 and Mindcrack) are fine.

Basicaly I get the FTB screen fine, and it shows the MOJANG screen for a minute, then it just crashes and gives me the error "Minecraft can't start".

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I tried forcing an update and rebooting.

I just had the same problem. BUt only once, I'm sure it will correct itself. I didn't get a crash, it just never tried again. Maybe your internet isdown?

Yeah, I usually play on my laptop offline, but I tried with a wireless connection and it still did it. I'll try again with a hard wire connection just to make sure.
