Just start the game with MindCrack and create a world in singleplayer. Nothing special, nothing fancy, just straight forward. There is nothing in the pack, which needs SMP.
Start mindcrack, choose singleplayer, choose create new world (or something like that), choose your options in the next screen and let it create the world.
