Mindcrack v8 low fps since update

I updated my mindcrack pack (v8.0.1) today and since the update my fps has been very low.
I used to have around 100-120fps but now it's 20fps average and chunks load very slow, mods like optifine make it worse. The only mod I added to the pack is armorstatushud.

My specs are: GTX 590, FX-8150 4.4GHz, 16gb RAM

Optinfine aint working with the new forge (more problems then good things), alot off ppl are complaining about lower FPS in V8 compared to V6 and V7. I don't think it will take long till optinfine is updated for the new forge

I've traced the issue within my home area at least to my Forestry Farms (cactus and wheat). Turning them off returns my FPS back to pretty much where it was on v7. Still a little bit slower than usual around my IC2 machines though.

For me the biggest deal is the sorting machine. With it on, I'm around 15-20 FPS, as I turn it off I go back to my usual 80-90 FPS. That's weird...
EDIT: I think it's not an Optifine related problem. I mean, low FPS occurs only when I stand close to my sorting machine, so it's not just about FPS, it more looks like a bug to me.
