Windows .exe Mindcrack V8.0.1 Can't create world

So, I updated my mindcrack to 8.0.1. And I deleted some of my old worlds that were kinda just sitting around in my singleplayer tab. Now, when I try to generate a new world it won't generate it. Just freezes on the loading world & building terrain screen. I have waited quite a while for it to generate the world but it doesn't, I have restarted my minecraft, my computer, and I just can't figure out what is wrong with it.

Edit: Just copied and pasted a back-up of one of my old v7 worlds into the folder. Clicked Yes on the updating, froze at the same screen sooooo yea....

Yea, stinks. I needed to test something in creative too to see how something looks/functions.

Using OptiFine?
Crash log?

If you happen to be using Optifine, that's thee issue I had, I had to download the newest version of Forge & put that in & put Optifine C3 in, & it worked
