I own an FTB server running Mindcrack that my brother (7) and I share. When the new update came out for FTB Mindcrack (8.1.1) the server was having problems, like when we would log on, we could see our world then it would crash. Working with the tech support at Mineocity, we tried generating a new world (to my little brothers disappointment) which did not help. What happens now is when we log on, we have about 4-5 mins of play time with very laggy performance. Before now, the server ran beautifully. No lag issues but now every few seconds it pauses then starts back again. I have no crash reports because the problem is not with minecraft, but the conection with the server (i believe).
Computer:
I am currently using a macbook pro with a 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4 gig of ram, OS X 10.8.3, and NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB. I have also attempted playing on the new MacBook Pro with Retina with 16 gig of ram.
In an ideal world, I hope to get my old world back, (i have world saves).
Basic Problem:
Log on, play for 4-5 mins, get kicked out and then see the dirt background of the basic minecraft for 5-10 mins, the background turns black then i have to force quit FTB.
