So for the past few days i've been trying to get this modpack working. When ever i make a new world the screen goes to "Building terrain." Then minecraft flickers and the lettering on the screen turns into, "Shutting down internal server..." And just stays there and i need to force quit the program. For servers it just stays at the screen saying "Logging In." And then goes straight to a black screen which leads me to force quit the program.

I have no other mods install to the pack. I've also tried to use FTB Ultimate but the same things happen. And i've also tried force updating but nothing different happens.
Thanks! Replies will highly appreciated.

This may be caused by two things, but also things that I haven't thought of.
First, does your Mac meet the minimum requirements for running FTB? (Post what your specs are and I'll tell you, if you're unsure)
Second, is your Java up to date?

Agent a mac almost always will play FTB unless you have a power book also the java auto updates.

So to fix this you have to do this:
1. Open the launcher.
2. Go to options.
3. Click advanced options.
4. In additional Java Parameters paste this in:
-XX:MaxPermSize=128M

If that doesn't work then you did something wrong.

Thanks for letting me know, I don't do Macs :p
Still, there was always the chance that it was a Power book.

Man they stoped making them in like 2005. also the reason why most macs can play FTB is thanks to the OS (I have intel HD3000 on my mac and I get 120 FPS with everything max on normal distance)
