Mindcrack Pack to Ultimate Pack

So currently i have a server running off the Mindcrack pack and i was wondering if we could upgrade to the Ultimate pack without any problems or without creating a new map so on....

Anyone know any information about this subject?

I believe there are some Item ID conflicts and some new ores. Do not know much about how to fix the ID problem, but you could simply make a Mystcraft age to generate new ores.

I changed my server from mindcrack to ultimate and I had no problem whatsoever... I don't think anything broke during the conversion and I'm still on the same map.

I did it a few days ago, no issues so far. I highly recommend doing so

Same here, migrated as soon as the pack came out, no porblems and for the new ores i just go to unexplored chuncks for them. I kept the hard mode configurations thou.

What would happen for all of traincraft oily sand and rock? I am considering this change as I don't use any of traincraft feature, but there is many of those block naturally present.

Also you will have world gen problems with Mine factory Reloaded.

i'm having those problems in SSP when i open my mindcrack world save in the ultimate pack.
