Mac Mindcrack Pack problems

Hey guys!!!

Just wanted to ask a quick question to see if anyone knows a solution to my problems

I'm running a mac (first problem i know )
When using the mindcrack pack, Randomly I get a lag spike and 'shutting down internal server'
I then have to force quit the launcher and then reload it, and when i reload it a couple of my items/recent work dissappears (like completely eg. I made a compressor just then and when I got back on both the compressor and the recipe items gone)

Frustrating to say the least

Also, my rei's minimap waypoint do not save when i logout/close and reload and or after a crash.

I set the memory usage on the launcher to 4GB, I have 8GB RAM in total, 2.4GHz core 2 duo, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 256 MB, OS X 10.8.2 (mountain lion) HOWEVER! I have recently upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion and had the same problem on both OS.

I have been playing on a online server and the game works so much better, only crashes once in like 2hrs rather than once every 10 minutes.. please help!!

Started playing the Dire Pack, transfered my save across and bobs your uncle works fine, guess I'll be playing the dire pack
