Mindcrack Pack Need Help! D:

hey, I've uploaded all the file's though ftp to multicraft, but server still say's it's in 1.4.2. How do I select the new jar file to use?

Most folk are celecrating xmas and not at computers More info would be helpful, what server host, private server? Things like that, maybe someone will check in soon. Also moving it to the server section might help

Christmas was yesterday for me lol, it's a private server hosted by HostLegend.com using Multicraft.

You have to make sure that your host allows you to use custom jars. If so, then at the main screen of your server in Multicraft stop your server, then there will be a "jar file" text box where you will need to type in the name of the jar, in this case, for me it was "minecrack.jar". After that hit save and start your server.

If you do not see the "jar file" text box, then it means your server host has not enabled the custom jar ability for your server. You would need to either talk with them on live chat, open a support ticket, or get a better server host(I can recommend a few).

Well I can use custom jars, but it keeps defaulting to FTB.jar, when I think it should be the mindcrack jar instead. So it still say's it's the outdated 1.4.2. :S

Can you delete the FTB.jar? That way it'll default to the mindcrack one instead.

Well yes and no, I can, but every time the server start's it create's a new FTB jar and change's to that. :<

Try renaming the mindcrack jar to whatever the ftb jar is named.

Nope, tried simply renaming the jar, but then I can't join the server due to conflicting item id's? :S

What does it say when you try to join? If it crashes post a crashlog and the server log. Or does renaming the jar still show up as 1.4.2 in the client, if it shows up as 1.4.2 in multicraft but doesn't kick you for "outdated server" in the client then it's fine.

I suspect that you downloaded the server launcher from the website therefor your launching ftb 1.4.2 lol. Heres the mindcrack server download

You can get the server downloads from the launcher itself just click flilter settings then use the drop down menu to search for server launchers.

I've got all the mindcrack file's already, but server wont use the custom jar, it keep's creating the ftb jar and using that.
