Windows .exe Mindcrack : Map corrupted, petrofuel gen.

I'm playing on Mindcrack pack v8.3.2 (1.4.7). I was pumping oil to a refinery connected to a petrofuel generator. Right by the refinery was 3 biogas engines (linked to an aqueous accumulator). I tried to place a wooden energy pipe (Buildcarft) to the engines, but connected it to the petrofuel generator. Instantly the game crashed, and every time i try to log to my map again, it does it again.

This is a known glitch with GregTech and Buildcraft pipes. It is fixed in 1.5.x version of GregTech. The cause is the GregTech machine tries to pull energy from the Buildcraft energy pipe and if it does not have the MJ upgrade already installed it will crash minecraft. The solution is to Backup your saves. Then MCEdit, or use a similar program, out either the GregTech machine or the Buildcraft pipe connecting to the GregTech machine.

If you want the GregTech machine run off of MJ instead of EU then place the GregTech machine somewhere else in the world. Add the MJ upgrade and then loss-less wrench the GregTech machine and place it where you want it. The GregTech machine will remember that it has the upgrade. If you are trying to run Buildcraft energy pipes next to the GregTech machines try using RedPower micro blocks to block the connection to the GregTech machines. Note I'm not sure if the micro blocks will stop the GregTech machines from trying to draw power it is just a guess.

Please do try the microblocks and see if it stops the error.

Thanks a lot. Are you sure MCedit works with ftb? That would be wonderful, i can't even access my map. I can totally move the pipes, i don't need it close to the machine, it was a fail. And that's always interresting to know GT machines may accept MJ.

I'll try to break the pipe in mcedit and tell you if it worked.

herr. When i open the level.dat of my world, the map loaded is reaally old, it's almost as it was when i started it (firsts blocks of my base). It's very frustrating, and when i looked at it in my Mindcrack/minecraft/save file, there are 3 different level.dat files. Mcedit doesn't recognize one of them, anoter is empty according to it, and the third is the old map. i really don't know what to do, i hope i can get my map back.
