[Mindcrack] Items not going into correct barrels through pneumatic tubes

I've been trying to build a sorting room lately, I've got the whole thing laid out how I want it, but items aren't going to the appropriate barrels when I throw them into my transposer.

This is the front:

When I toss a stack of melons into the machine, instead of going through to the melon barrel (top left) they either take the other direction (right path) or go to the left, but still to the restriction tube at the end.

Sorter configuration:

Fully powered, set to output full stacks, and autopulse.

Back of sorting room:

This is me standing right next to the sorter. There is a restriction tube behind the chest, other than that, everything else is pneumatic.

Any ideas of how I can fix this problem?

Items must go into the top of barrels, that is how their inventory works.

Input in the top. Output out the bottom.

Oh man, do I feel dumb. I thought they could take from both top and bottom

More specifically -

Pneumatic tubes can insert into the bottom of barrels, but only for the first stack. As soon as the barrel tries to roll over to "1x64+1" - then you can only Tube into the top.

Pneumatic tubes can only ever withdraw from the bottom.

if you use a router you will no longer need the tubes.
