Problem Mindcrack FTB Server Lost Thaumcraft Nodes / Recipes

I currently have a friend hosting a mindcrack ftb server and when i logged on today some members told me the thaumcraft recipes have reset and all the nodes are gone.

I checked and they were infact gone and the recipes in my thauminomicon were reset.

I dont mind the reset recipes but how can i fix the nodes if possible so we can have them back in the world?

Also what would the problem be that caused this to happen?
 
We've just had this happen a few days ago on our mindcrack server.

I realize we can regenerate the nodes but what caused the initial node bug, and what's to keep it from happening again?
