Bug Mindcrack 1.4.7 on Curse not writing its files to instance folder

I'm currently moving my old FTB worlds to the Curse app. Apparently there was an update for the original Mindcrack pack 3 days ago. When I launch this version on a Mac, it saves its files to ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft instead of the Instances folder the Curse app uses.

I hope this is the right place to report this.

Same goes for Direwolf20 1.5.2 version downloaded straight from Curse.

I highly doubt that a 1.4.7 pack got an update. There was a recent mindcrack pack released that was for 1.7.10 but afaik that is not being updated now.
