mincecraft.exe is not a valid win32 application

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I fixed it by downloading minecraft normally, and moving the minecraft.exe into the folder to replace the minecraft.exe that the modpack was trying to access.

1 - This is a old post and most likely you had different issues than the original poster (it's still very unclear exactly what OP's issues was - and yours as well)
2 - It's great for you that you managed to solve your issue - but that solution is not something I would recommend
3 - Without having any other information to go on - i'm guessing that the issues are from corrupt download of files, some other application interfering (AV or other security software)

If you have further issues and need help, please start your own thread and provide the information asked for - and perhaps your issues could be solved so you don't need to go this "long way" to fix the packs.

This is the problem I'm having. I've tried reinstalling the twitch desktop app and the project ozone 2 mod pack several times and it still hasn't fixed itself. I'm using windows 7 btw
