Sorry for the crumby graphics! An explanation and SS @ imgur
Still needs a way to chunk load the diamond blocks, so far my attempts at making a flying machine using botania have failed.

This uses a bunch of mana, but will net you a lot of resources too. Coal mined by it alone should be able to at least partially negate the fuel cost. Still more efficient than orechid

This is useful if some ores or resources are unavailable through the orechid or other methods.

Looks like he's using Force Relays to teleport the bore/warp mana bursts to the quarry's dig site, and a clever arrangement of pistons to move the blocks the force relays are bound to along without having to move the spreaders themselves. I'd never thought about using the remote-pistoning and manaburst-teleporting features of the Force Relays at once- I guess I'd assumed that it would mess up the linkage, and I didn't think there'd be a way to move the linked blocks along one block at a time while keeping the relays themselves in place. I'm still not sure how he does it- I notice that the pistons that push the relays backward, in the opposite direction of that which the linked blocks move, are all sticky. What does that have to do with it, I wonder?

It's also worth mentioning that the Bore/Warp lens teleports any and all mined items back to the location of the spreader. So just one Hopperhock somewhere near all the redstonery should be able to collect everything the contraption mines.

op should basically copy/paste this into the op. (acronyms are funny)

the sticky pistons do not move the linked block. Only the relay itself. The bore lens does indeed warp the mined resources back to the relay

I can't do video but I could upload a save if you really need a working example

Also, gonna tell you right off the bat, you'll need chromaticraft and botania or else it will corrupt.
Re-binding all of those force relays is a pain both in survival and vanilla, and the amount of work it takes to bind them increases with the amount of distance.
To understand the delay between various actions it's easier to count the repeaters than try to pick it up with the eye. If the timing is off the force relays get squished or the pistons get bored or something bad and breaking usually happens. If the pistons get squished and fall as items you may or may not have to rebind them all again
