Are they supposed to be invincible? Because I set a nuke off right next to one and it took it down, and the MFFS devices were destroyed as well. It was a sphere with no strength upgrades. What does it take for a forcefield to withstand a nuke?
i believe that the forcefield needs alot of power in order to withstand a nuke, as the explosion drains power, thereby taking the forcefield down allowing for the MFFS devices to be destroyed. Try having multiple capacitators that are full when you try a blast test.
