I'm quite glad I decided to test that out in an old quarry-site first. That made quite a mess!

I seem to remember that MFFS could be used to shield your base from reactor accidents, but when I plopped a nuke inside an MFFS cube it didn't seem to do much of anything. It was floating in space so the field was contiguous (detonated with wireless redstone)

(unleashed 1.1.3, using the "new" MFFS by the name starting with 'cal' that I can never remember)

Calclavia is aware of this I think. It is because in his version forcefields don't form instantly but in the other versions they do. I think he is planning an upgrade module that fixes this.

So the "explosion" isn't a single instance? I could understand the field being "wiped" by it, but I don't understand how regen speed would affect this since the explosion is done and over with at that point?

Would it help to layer 2 or 3 force-fields around it (like an onion) do you think, in the meantime?
