MFFS Admin Problem

Hey guys,

I've been playing on a custom modpack very similar to FTB. We have managed to put up a large force field using 3 steam boilers. After lots of experiments, we have discovered that server Ops can bypass the Biometric Identifier and the Interdiction Matrix. One of the Ops are kinda dodgy so we don't want them in our base. Is there some way to fix this.

We are playing on Minecraft 1.6.4 and using MFFS Calclavia 3.6.2.70.

IIRC anyone in creative can bypass the field. I would say check the config to see if you can disable that, but I don't think you can.

We have it set in the config to kill creative players and that seems to work for non Opped palyers.

I'm assuming you're on MFFS Calclavia (if not, let me know and I'll find the other mod's configs). Go into the config and under the "General" section, you want this line:

B:"Op Override"=true

Changed to false. That should do it for you.

That's also set to false.

Cos it's with a small group group of friends. And the dodgy player is the owner.

And someone who is an Oper can do what the @#$$ they want, your security attempts notwithstanding. e.g. Ops have access to commands that can simply delete blocks from the world.

Fighting with an Op is not a winning proposition.

Not if the op has no mod knowledge.

...Or much other minecraft knowledge.
