So I have been trying to craft an pump in MF2 1.1.5, I have tried every workbench I can think of (sans AE) and can get the recipe to appear but am not able to actually craft the pump. I play on an SMP server and we're looking to pump some lava but nobody has been able to craft one. Does anyone else have this problem?

Edit - I have also had trouble crafting a TE Sawmill, much in the same manner.

Can you craft one in a single player world (spawning in the crafting items of course)? Can you then place it in that single player world without any crashes or errors in the logs? Can anyone spawn in the block to place it and see if it works (good idea to have a world backup before this just in case). Just looking to isolate the issue a little bit more.

From the MF2 1.1.5 changelog:

/snip
  • Extra Utilities
    • Changed Recipe for Ender-Thermic Pump and Gravel Bricks
  • Thermal Expansion
    • Changed Recipe for Sawmill
/snip

I'll bet the recipe change isn't reflected in NEI.

Where could I find them? Cause it doesn't make sense if i can get the craft to appear but not craft.

Tried the NEI recipe in SSP and had no problems, don't know whats up.

Recipes can show up on crafting benches on the client, but won't craft, when the registered recipes are different between client and server.

This can be because of differences in config between the client and server, or more commonly, because the mod is disabled on the server.

So step 1 would be to check that the server is actually running extra-utilities.

And that the server and client are running the same version of the pack.

Forge usually checks that - IF the mods meta info is correct. So many do have bad meta info. Perhaps FTB should have a policy of excluding mods with bad meta-info as an incentive for mod authors to get-it-right.

If all that changed in the modpack between versions were some configs, the client wont report anything unless the IDs dont match up.
