Metal Bee Combs?

Hey guys,
I am starting to get into the bee mod, but I want to get the steel, copper and diamond combs.

Is there any sort of guide on how to get these combs, or is it just pure luck?

They come from the forestry addon extra bees and must be obtained with a specific bee (for each) of which I won't spoil though I will hint you down the line of rocky bees

If you DO want to spoil it for yourself (not that that's as much fun for some people, but you DID ask about guides) there's a pretty comprehensive chart some guy made on MinecraftForum. Just Google "Extra Bees Breeding Chart" or something to that effect; it shows all of EB and Forestry's possible mutations.

Alternatively, you could spawn that fancy gizmo direwolf20 was going on about that shows you all the mutations in-game.

Not to say that doing it yourself isn't fun, though. Or Fun, heh heh...

copper bee isnt that hard to get unsure on steel bee but the diamond bee will take a while ive done most of my breeding useing apiarist database and compairing bee colours to the bees i have in future mutations

Bee breeding can be very hard and time consuming if you do it like I did (the bad way) so let me give you some warnings.

1) USE FRAMES: ok so if your like me your just like, I don't need to waste resources on frames, I'll just wait. Don't, especially with the cool frames extra bees adds its totally worth it even for the basic frames
2) get lots of breeding: If you plan on getting all the way to metal bees you are gonna want lots (I mean lots) of apiaries and start saving early for alviaries because they are much faster.
3) Make a choice: do you want to have all the cool bee products or are you focused on metal, make this choice early on, because it will matter as you get into the middle mutations.
