I'm working on creating a private modpack for a small server with some friends with mine. However, as I've been adding mods, I've gotten to the point where adding any more mods causes the game to crash, repeating "[WARNING] [Minecraft-Client] Memory connection overburdened; after processing 2500 packets, we still have 13182 to go!" a few times and then locking up.

This happens suddenly - I.E., it works fine, then I added MFR, and now it crashes after 2-3 seconds in-world. This happens regardless of the mod, I.E., I can remove MFR and it will work, and then if I add AE or Twilight Forest it starts crashing again.

Is there some sort of hard limit on modpack size? I've increased both my normal RAM allocation and PermGen allocation.
