Not true. When forum games were switched to no longer count posts, there were people that went from 1k posts to about 100.

Posts in General FTB Chat don't count anymore?
The actual "General FTB Chat" forum in the "Feed The Beast" section, or the "General Discussion" forum in the "Chat" subsection of the "General" section? Slight but important difference
I'm not sure it would make sense to exempt General FTB Chat, since we do talk on topic here (occasional spambots nonwithstanding). The other one is an anything-goes place. That sounds like the kind of place that might not count for "community rankings".

There was also Wiki Team, Global Mods, Forum Mods, Modpack Team, as well as a few others. I believe the Team Member and Mod Dev ones are moderately new, but I could be wrong.They do. Technically those exist, but you an only view the animation on profile pages. Sigarii has one.

I want to suggest that the different ranks and how to get them are put up as a pinned thread so that users like myself can access it whenever we want. It would also be easier to make changes to the member system while letting other people know about it.
